Crossing back

Well, we had a weather window for crossing back to the mainland.  It was just as we started looking, and the next looked a week out.  So we left Ballandra, near Loretto at noon.  It's a 120kn trip due north to San Carlos so we planned to be in mid morning.  We had good  SSE winds off and on throughout the day and night so we made really good time and had to slow up a bit off of San Carlos to wait for daylight.  Checking the tides it looked good to get in the entrance so we pulled into the fuel dock and waited for Isabel to open the Harbor Office.  She had a slip for us and was able to move up our haul out date a bi, awesome.  We are wrapping up the trip a little early, but when the weather cooperates for a nice crossing we take advantage.  Crossings can be really uncomfortable if he weather is not watched carefully.  All's good and we will be working to put the boat away and head back north to Montana.
